Superintendent Robinson was born in Durham, North Carolina to Virgin Jr. and Rachel Robinson. He met and married Miss Theresa Fields of St. Helena Island, South Carolina, over forty years ago. They have two children, Rachel and Kevin, who are both retired from the United States Military. They have given Supt and Mrs. Robinson eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren to love and adore.
Superintendent Robinson received his formal education in the public schools of Durham County and Pensacola, FL. Superintendent Robinson was saved in March 1976 was called to the gospel ministry in 1979. He spent a total of thirty years on both active duty and in the reserves, retiring in 1991 from the United States Marine Corps to devote himself to full time ministry.
In 1985, Superintendent Robinson started New Covenant Ministries COGIC in Okinawa, Japan, which is still active today. With seven members in 1986, Superintendent Robinson established New Covenant Ministries in Jacksonville, NC, which today is a thriving ministry serving the military and civilian communities of Onslow County.
Superintendent Robinson received an Associate of Arts Degree, Bachelor of Theology Degree, Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences, Master in Theology, Doctor of Theology, and a Doctorate of Divinity from Family Bible College and from Slidell College and Seminary.
Superintendent Robinson, in 1996, was appointed the Superintendent of the Greater Jacksonville District
by Bishop LeRoy J. Woolard. He serves as a National Adjutant and Chief Adjutant for the Greater North Carolina Jurisdiction.
Superintendent Robinson, an Evangelist, conducts revivals and crusades throughout the US, ministering under the anointing of God. He believes in the power of the gospel and its ability to change lives. His favorite scripture is Proverbs 11:30 – “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life – He that winneth souls is wise.”
